Kira Nogard – A Girl with a Dragon’s Heart

Kira Nogard is a joyful kid with big dreams — sometimes she’s a little sad, but that’s part of being a dragon in training! Her ultimate goal? To become a dragon alpha! While she may look like a regular girl, inside beats the heart of a fierce dragon. Kira absolutely adores dragons — so much so that almost all her books are, of course, about DRAGONS! Her heart overflows with joy and dragon magic. Dragon love is special — because in Kira’s world, dragons are the most magical creatures of all.

You might wonder if “Kira Nogard” is her real name. If you ask, she’ll just tell you: “Forget about my name — it’s all about the dragons!” Her love for books began one day at the mall when she spotted Azmina the Gold Glitter Dragon by Maddy Mara. That’s where her idea for writing her own stories took flight! She soon began working on her first book, Boys Turned Dragons.

Kira didn’t stop there! While waiting for the next Dragon Girl book, she discovered Dragon Masters by Tracey West, inspiring her to create another series called Adorables. These books are full of dragon adventures, and while they’re written for kids, Kira recommends that parents read them aloud — after all, the Adorables books are quite epic! The first season, for example, spans the entire month of August, and more dragon adventures are yet to come.
